My duties and responsibilities;
• Preparation of measurement sheets and detailed quantity take-off based on drawings and documents for on-going projects.
• Construct and assess comparison sheets for quotations from Suppliers and Subcontractors.
• Preparation and submission of variation cost proposals.
• Submission of progressive claims to client and follow up for payment response.
• Evaluation and verification of supplier and subcontractor claims.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Estimation and cost planning for the pre-tender stage
• Preparation of tender documents and BOQ’s for the projects
• Preparation of interim payments and final payments
• Interfacing with the client and consultant
• Negotiating with vendors
• All major strategic procurement from the identification of approved materials, verifying quantities as per the plan vs actual
• Working closely with suppliers and clients to improve operation and reduce probable costs while project executions
• Coordination with the project manager and site engineer
• Monitoring and preparation of cost variations
• Preparation of approved material samples for the projects.
